摘要：国外电影，特别是美国好莱坞电影，由于其制作精良，因此受到中国观众的欢迎。随着好莱坞电影的不断引入，对于电影字幕的翻译工作的要求越来越高。优秀的字幕翻译可以使得观众更好的欣赏国外优秀的影视作品，从而克服语言文化差异造成的障碍。本论文以《毒液》作为案例，对其字幕翻译进行分析。在功能对等理论的指导下，从词汇层面的功能对等、句法层面的功能对等以及语篇层面的功能对等三个方面对《毒液》中字幕翻译进行了研究分析。本文采用的直译和意译的翻译策略，为字母翻译提供了较强的实践指导。通过本文的研究，期望可以为中国电影电影字幕翻译的发展提供参考帮助。

A Study of the Application of Functional Equivalence Theoryin Film Subtitle Translation－A Case Study of Venom

Abstract：Foreign films, especially American Hollywood films,are well received by Chinese audiences because of their excellent production. With the increasing number of Chinese imported films,it is necessary to improve the quality of subtitle translation to match. Excellent subtitle translation can make the audience better appreciate excellent foreign film and television works, so as to overcome the barriers caused by language and cultural differences. This thesis takes Venom as a case to analyze its subtitle translation.Based on the functional equivalence theory,this paper analyzes the subtitle translation of the film venom. This paper mainly analyzes its subtitle translation fromthree aspects, including vocabulary, syntax and discourse. In addition, this paper proposes strategies for subtitle translation,including literal translation and free translation, hoping to provide reference for film subtitle translation. Through the study of this paper,it is expected to provide reference and help for the development of Chinese film subtitle translation.
