| 英语和汉语礼貌法对比【英语论文】 ABSTRACT As a common social phenomenon, politeness is an essential way of communication in the process of communication. It is an important code of conduct for people to maintain daily life and it communication, and is a fixed norm and civilized means widely used by social members and gradually formed. Because they have different way of thinking, Chinese and Western people have different politeness principles, different cultural background, and which has formed the courtesy style different from western politeness principles of compliance. In order to investigate the differences of English and Chinese politeness and origin, for people to better use the politeness principle, and to promote the smooth progress of cross-cultural communication, the paper also puts forward some suggestions on how to improve intercultural communication and foreign language teaching from the perspective of cultural differences.
