Abstract

Primary school English role-playing is essentially an English classroom activity that simulates real language situations,which meets the requirements of the new primary school English curriculum standards, and is very popular in primary school English classes. Primary school English role-playing activities are novel and interesting,which gratifies the lively and active personality characteristics of primary school students. applying it to primary school English class can not only promote the promotion of students' enthusiasm, but also promote the development of students' cognitive level and communicative ability. It can also promote the improvement of students' comprehensive language use and practical application ability. However, there are some problems in the use of role-playing among primary school teachers and students. This paper mainly summarizes the current situation of primary school English role-playing teaching activities through questionnaires, teacher interviews and teaching survey. To analysis the subsistent problems and factors and explore the tactis,in order to provide some useful theoretical reference for fundamental school English teachers, so that role-playing can really play a role in primary school English teaching activities.
