Problems, causes and Countermeasures of Primary School English role-playing Teaching activities

Abstract


Primary school English role-playing is essentially an English classroom activity that simulates real language situations,which meets the requirements of the new primary school English curriculum standards and is well-received by teachers and students in our country. The application of role-playing teaching in primary school English teaching can notonly promote students' enthusiasm,but also promote the developmentof students' cognitive level and communicative competence, but also help to improve students' comprehensive language use and practical ability, and cultivate students' English core literacy. However, there are also some shortcomings in the application of role-playing in primary school English teaching. This paper focuses on summarizing the current situation of primary school English role-playing teaching activities through questionnaires, teacher interviews and teaching observations. To understand the problems and causes in primary school English role-playing teaching activities, and to explore countermeasures in view of the problems,so as to provide some useful theoretical references for primary school English educators. So that role-playing can really play a role in English teaching activities in primary schools.

摘要

小学英语角色扮演本质上是一种模拟真实语言情境的英语课堂活动,符合小学英语新课程标准的要求,深受我国广大师生的好评[1]。在小学英语教学中运用角色扮演教学既可以促进学生积极性的提升,又可以促进学生认知水平和交际能力的发展,也有助于促进学生综合语言运用和实际运用能力的提高,培养学生的英语核心素养。但角色扮演在小学英语教学运用中也存在一些不足,本文侧重于通过问卷调查,教师访谈及教学观察分析总结小学英语角色扮演教学活动的现状,了解小学英语角色扮演教学活动中的问题与成因,针对其出现的问题探索对策,为小学英语教育工作者提供一些有用的理论参考,使角色扮演在小学英语教学活动中能真正发挥作用。
