市场营销视角下分析英文电影片名翻译的商业价值【英语论文】

摘  要


随着生产力的进步与科技的发展,电影产业已经成成为整个娱乐产业的顶梁柱。中国政府每年官方配额引入三十四部国外电影,其中美方票房分账从原来的13%升至25%,英文电影,尤其是美国电影在中国广受欢迎。然而,英文电影名片翻译者对电影标题的翻译多从其文化价值和信息价值入手,常常忽略了进口电影标题是电影产业的名片这一事实,而使得很多电影标题的翻译版本不能体现其商业价值,这是文化与商业的重大隔离。本文将就市场细分原则,消费者心理研究,市场行为变数等为依据指出电影标题翻译的商业价值。
本文将电影标题翻译与市场相结合,从各个角度分析电影标题翻译的商业价值,将在一定程度上帮助翻译者认识到电影标题的翻译除“信达雅”以外,还有另外一个目标--即迎合市场需求,满足观影人的心理期待。
