菲勒斯中心主义的确立、危机与崩溃 ——从女权主义角度解读《蝇王》 Rise, Crisis and Collapse of Phallocentrism ---the Feminist Approach of Lord of the Flies ABSTRACT William Golding, Nobel Prize winner for Literature, is well known to his poetic narration, incisive style, and profound percipience into humanity. Lord of the Flies, Golding’s first novel, published in 1954, aroused great interest among the readers and critics, and won his reputation as a brilliant post-war English novelist. This thesis interprets the novel with feminism and represents a process from rise to fall into crisis and to collapse of Phallocentrism due to the absence of women. Golding, as a feminism, uses a special artistic method in his Lord of the Flies to prove the importance and necessity of women and calls for the harmony between man and women hoping to arouse female’s self-awareness and self-liberation, and also set off an alarm bell for male chauvinism.
