摘要

很多读者喜欢马克·吐温的小说中的讽刺和幽默意味。吐温的讽刺意味是使用反常识和逻辑的方法讲叙某些事物和故事，目的是通过使用各种叙述技巧来表达人们的陌生感。为了探究这部小说的讽刺效果，本文尝试对小说中使用的夸张和对比等手法进行简要分析。这些手法使读者通过超出现实的情节反省自己，通过虚构和现实的对比，读者可以在假设的自我和自己之间分别扮演不同的角色，这也就可以达到讽刺的目的。

Irony in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

Abstract

Many people are fond of Mark Twain and his irony and humor.Twain’s irony aims to expound something without common sense and logical,showing people’s strangeness on purpose by using various kinds of techniques. In order to explore the ironic effect in this novel,this paper attempts to make a brief analysis of suchtechniques as exaggeration and contrast, which enables readers to detach themselves from the reality and introspect themselves. By mixing up fiction and reality,readers can shuttle back and forth between detached selves and themselves, which is the aim of the ironic effect.
