| 目的论视角下的中国政府白皮书翻译研究——以《抗击新冠肺炎疫情的中国行动》白皮书翻译为例【英文】 摘要：中国陆续发布了许多不同主题的白皮书，内容涉及民主政治建设，军控，国防以及能源环境等方面，准确且全面的阐明了中国政府在一些重大问题上的政策主张，以及在国际交流中取得的进展。因此，白皮书一经发布就受到了全世界的广泛关注。白皮书翻译需求越多，译者面临的挑战也越多，对译者的翻译水平也提出了更高的要求。白皮书的翻译核心是尽可能忠实的传达原文的信息，在这一类文本的翻译中，目的论能够帮助译者选取合适的翻译策略，来实现白皮书的文本功能。目的论的形成包括四个发展阶段，包含三大原则，即目的原则，连贯性原则和忠实原则，其中，目的原则占据着至关重要的位置，因为目的论下的翻译策略是由翻译的目的决定的。 新冠肺炎疫情引起全国人民的热烈讨论，因此本文将选取《抗击新冠肺炎疫情的中国行动》的英译本，通过列举译本中的相关词句，从目的论的角度研究其翻译策略。 关键词：目的论；省译；转译；直译；意译； A Study on the Translation of the White Paper of the Chinese Government from the Perspective ofSkopos Theory---A Case Study of the Translation of Fighting Covid-19: China in Action Abstract: China has successively published many white papers on different topics,including democratic political construction, arms control, national defense, energy and environment, etc., which accurately and comprehensively expounds the Chinese government's political policies and propositions on some major issues and the progress made in international exchanges. As a result, the white paper has been widely concerned by the world as soon as it is released.The more demands for white paper translation,the more challenges the translators will face, which requires translators to improve their translation skills constantly. The core of white paper translation is to convey the information of the original text as faithfully as possible. In the translation of this kind of text,Skopos theory can help translators choose appropriate translation strategies to achieve the text function of the white paper. The formation of the Skopos theory has gone through four stages of development.And there are three principles of Skopos theory.They are skopos rule, coherent rule and fidelity rule.Among these three principles, skopos rule occupies the most important position,because translation strategies under the Skopos theory are determined by translation purposes. The Covid-19 arouse heated discussion among the whole country .Therefore, this article selects the English version of Fighting Covid-19: China in Action, by enumerating the relevant words in the translation text,this paper studies its translation strategies from the perspective of Skopos theory.
