| 功能对等理论视角下政治文献的英译研究-以2020年政府工作报告为例 摘 要 随着我国的经济实力、综合国力大幅提升，在国际上的大国地位日趋稳固，中国与世界各国的交流更加紧密，更加频繁。长此以往，国与国之间的沟通变得极为重要。《政府工作报告》作为世界各国认识和了解中国的经济、社会、科技、政治等方面发展的有效途径，其英译本的措辞需要极强的精确性与严谨性。因此，该政论文的翻译对于译者的要求极高。 本文以尤金·奈达的功能对等理论为框架，基于《2020年政府工作报告》，从词汇、句法以及语篇三个方面，对政府工作报告的英译本进行系统的研究。研究结果发现，将功能对等理论应用到政论文的翻译中具有极强的可行性。在功能对等理论的指导下，政治文献的英译文本和原文的表达更贴切，更能准确地传达出原文的内容与风格。 关键词：政府工作报告；功能对等理论；翻译策略；英译研究 Abstract With China's economic strength and comprehensive national strength greatly enhanced, the status of a great power in the world is becoming more and more stable, and the exchanges between China and the world are closer and more frequent. In the long run, communication between countries has become extremely important.As an effective way to learn and understand China's economic, social,scientific, technological and political development,the English translation of the government work report needs to be very precise and rigorous. Therefore, the translation of political papers is highly demanding for translators. Based on Eugene Nida's theory of functional equivalence,this paper systematically studies the English translation of government work report from three aspects: vocabulary, syntax and discourse. It has found that it is very feasible to apply functionalequivalence theory to the translation of political papers. Under the guidance of the theory of functional equivalence,the English translation of political documents is more appropriate to the original text, and can convey the content and style of the original text more accurately.
