| Title:Contrast Between Chinese and Western Courageous FemaleImages——Taking Wang Xifeng and Scarlett as an Example 题 目: 中西方果敢女性形象对比—以王熙凤和斯嘉丽为例 摘要 王熙凤是中国文学中典型的女强人女性形象，王熙凤在中国小说中是拥有勇敢，精明，独立等特质的女性角色，即使在红楼梦中有很多女性形象但是在其中王熙凤依然是让人记忆深刻的一位。因为她打破了人们对传统封建思想的女性刻板形象，从不同角度说明了巾帼不让须眉的观点—女人也可以管理整个家庭。而斯嘉丽是西方文学中典型的女强人形象，斯嘉丽在西方小说中同样也拥有很多特质。这些特质让斯嘉丽这个角色拥有了血肉。她在战乱时期靠自己撑起一个家，她勇敢，果断。她向人们展示了战乱时代的困难时期女性的不服输的韧性。王熙凤和斯嘉丽这两个女性形象是由于他们的独立思想，和务实等为人们所熟知，虽然作者写作的背景不是同一个国家同一个时代，但是他们依然具有可比性。两者差异也是显而易见的，由于两者文化，时代的差异她们有着不同的命运，在文中探讨了两者的相似性以及差异性。我们可以在这两个人物比较中了解中西方文化的不同以及女性意识。我们可以从两个人物的对比碰撞中学习到她们身上好的特质可以用她们勉励自己。 关键词：比较；中西文化；社会环境；女性 Abstract Wang Xifeng is a typical strong female character in Chinese literature,she is a brave, shrewd and independent female character in Chinese novels. There are many women in A Dream of Red Mansions,but among them Wang Xifeng is still one of the most memorable. Because she broke the stereotypical image of women in traditional feudal thought and illustrated from a different perspective that women are no inferior to men. Scarlett is a typical strong woman in Western literature,and Scarlett also has many characteristics in Western fiction. These qualities give Scarlett's character flesh and blood.She is brave and decisive as she supports a family by herself during the war.She shows the defiant resilience of women in difficult times.Wang Xifeng and Scarlett are two female characters known for their independent thinking and pragmatism,although the two authors did not write in the same country and time period, but they are still comparable. The differences between the two characters are also obvious,as they have different fates due to the differences betweentheir cultures and times, and the similarities and differences between the two are explored in the text.We can understand the different feminine consciousness of China and the West in thecomparison of these two characters,learn the good qualities of them from the contrast and collision of the two characters, and use them to encourage ourselves.
