| Cultural Connotation and Translation of Color in English and Chinese Expressions Abstract : This paper analyzes the influence of cultural difference on color associative meanings and its translation from perspective of vocabulary, through comparative analysis on associative meaning differences in Chinese and western cultures and the influences in translation, this paper points out the importance of cultural differences in associative meanings and translation, and thus put forward some translation methods for solving these problems in culture-loaded color word translation.
