| A Study on Subtitle Translation of English Movie The Pursuit of Happyness Based on Relevance Theory Abstract：With the fast growth of movies industry, film,as one of the main ways of entertainment, plays an important role in promoting the sino-foreign cultural exchanges. This paper, under the perspective of relevance theory,research the movie The Pursuit of Happyness’s subtitletranslation and reach relevance theory to film subtitle translation process has a strong and positive meaningof guidance and evaluation, in addition to this, not only can effectively improve the quality of subtitle translation, but also make the target language audience with minimal effort and the source language audience of the same cultural experience and feelings. Key Word：Relevance Theory, Subtitle Translation, The Pursuit of Happyness 关联理论视角下对英文电影《当幸福来敲门》的字幕翻译研究 摘要：随着电影行业的飞速发展，电影作为人民的主要娱乐方式之一，在促进中外文化交流上起着举足轻重的作用。本文在关联理论的视角下，对电影《当幸福来敲门》的字幕翻译进行研究，从中看出关联理论对电影字幕翻译过程具有强烈和积极的指导性和评价意义，除此之外，能有效提升字幕翻译的质量，使目的语观众能以最小的努力获得和源语观众相同的文化体验与感受。 关键词：关联理论；字幕翻译；当幸福来敲门 |
