| 方言的形成及对英语发音的影响 Abstract English is a phonetic script that focuses on phonetic intonation, whereas Chinese is an ideographic script that focuses on the use of words to shout meaning. This huge difference in style and form between languages can lead to disagreements over the distinctive dialects that exist between them. The Chinese language is a very rich and profound culture, which has evolved into the regional landmarks of today's languages as a result of regional changes and historical development. In second language acquisition, phonological learning is a very important aspect. However, according to our survey, there is no systematic knowledge of phonetic symbols in primary school English textbooks. Therefore, students' pronunciation of English is affected to a greater or lesser extent by their local dialects. In this paper, we use local dialects as examples to explore the formation and pronunciation characteristics of dialects, and analyse the formation of dialects and their influence on English pronunciation in a serious way.
