The Application of Flipped Classroom to English Reading in Junior Middle School  

Abstract

With the continuous advancement of the new curriculum reform, the traditional teaching mode is no longer applicable in the classroom, especially for English teaching. Therefore, the transformation of teaching mode becomes the necessity of teaching research nowadays. Flipped classroom, a kind of teaching mode, is emerging in recent years, which breaks the boring atmosphere between teachers and students, highlighting the subject status of students in teaching. The flipped classroom has the planning for the time inside and outside the classroom, which can effectively enhance students' initiative in learning and change the teaching mode of exam-oriented education. Therefore, this article will take junior middle school English reading as a carrier, to explore and summarize the application value of flipped classroom.
