| Humanism Reflected In As You Like It Abstract As the main melody of the Renaissance in Europe in the 16th century, the humanity fully affirms human status and the value and grows fast in popularity. Shakespeare, whose works embodies strong humanistic feelings, is the representative of this period. This article takes one of his four comedies-As You Like It as the object of the study. Through the introduction of the background information and the revelation of the thematic meaning of As You Like It, this paper mainly focuses on the study of Shakespeare's humanistic thoughts and the selective analysis of the manifestation of Shakespeare's humanism in As You Like It. This paper is analyzed from two aspects, the first one is the affirmation of the pursuit of niceness such as love, equality and freedom, the other is the aspect that the sin and evil can be forgiven at last. Meanwhile，at the end of this paper, the limitation of Shakespeare's humanism is pointed out, which intended to help the readers have better understanding of Shakespeare’s humanism and his related works.
