| The Application of Body Language in Middle School English Teaching Abstract With the reform of the situation of English teaching, English teaching methods are changing. To improve the teaching quality of English in English class, it isn't enough for English teachers to just use verbal English to teach students. In classroom teaching, nonverbal communication is getting more and more attention. And for students, body language is an efficient way to understand English easily. For teachers, body language can advance the teaching quality of English. For students and teachers, body language can be a bond to narrow their distance. Body language helps teachers correctly convey knowledge to students. Nowadays, body language is an important lesson for English teachers. However, in fact, with the changing of the psychological changes of middle school students, English teaching approach of middle school needs to transform. Body language can make the middle school English teaching better. This article introduces about the definition, types and functions of body language in brief and discusses the application of body language in middle school English teaching in detail.
