| 交际与语义翻译理论指导下《大自然的信托》（节选）翻译实践报告 摘要 本翻译内容节选自玛丽·克里斯蒂安·伍德 （Mary Christian Wood）的著作《大自然的信托》第十一章。本实践报告的选材中既涉及法律专业文本的翻译，又有许多原作者的个人分析与见解，文本类型较丰富。译者在考虑到文本特征后，选择采用纽马克文本类型学下的两种翻译方法——交际与语义翻译理论来指导本翻译实践。其中，交际翻译强调以目的语读者为核心，必要时对原文本做出调整以减少其阅读障碍；语义翻译则强调忠实于原文，尽量保留原文本的形式和内容。本次翻译实践以纽马克的语义翻译与交际翻译理论为指导,旨在分析翻译不同类型的句子时应使用的翻译策略，如意译、增译、拆译、直译、顺译、注释等。通过此次翻译实践，笔者发现语义翻译和交际翻译可以适用于不同类型的文本，可操作性较强，且必要时两者也可结合使用。在翻译实践中，译者可根据原文本和表达效果的需要，合理运用语义翻译和交际翻译，忠实、通顺且明确地传达原文意思。 关键词：交际翻译，语义翻译，《大自然的信托》 ABSTRACT This translation practice is selected from Chapter 11 of Mary Christian Wood’s Nature’s Trust: Environmental Law for a New Ecological Age. The selected material not only involves legal knowledge,but also obtains many personal analysis and opinions of the author. Therefore, considering the diversity of the text,communicative and semantic translation methods under Newmark’s text typology theory are selected to guide the practice. According to Newmark’s theory,communicative translation is reader-oriented, which takes target language readers as the core. So it’s necessary to make proper changes to reduce reading difficulties;semantic translation emphasizes faithfulness to the original text, trying to retain its forms and contents. Guided by these two theories,this translation practice aims to analyze the translation strategies such as free translation, amplification, division, literal translation, linear translation and annotation, that can be used in translating different types of sentences. Through this practice, the translator finds that semantic translation andcommunicative translation have great operability in translating different types of texts, and these two approaches can also be applied in combination. In translation practice, the translator should use semantic and communicative translation flexibly according to the specific needs of the original text and expressioneffect, so as to convey the original meaning faithfully, smoothly and clearly.
