| 中美家庭教育的比较与启示【英语论文】 Comparison between Chinese and American Family Education and Enlightenment ABSTRACT Compared to school education and social education, family education is the most fundamental education. It plays a decisive role in the healthy growth of a person, the happiness of the family, and the harmony of society. In the education project for cultivating talents in the new century, all countries in the world attach great importance to family education. In China, family education has attracted great attention from all walks of life, especially the education sector. However, there are still many misunderstandings in the education of many families in China. Learning from the valuable practices of other countries in family education has a good enlightening effect on getting out of the misunderstanding of family education in our country. In the first chapter, this paper will introduce the definition and characteristics of family education. In the second chapter, this paper will compare and analyze family education between China and the United States of America. Next, this paper will illustrate why Chinese family education is different from American family education. Finally, it expound enlightenment from the comparative analysis of family education in China and the United States. By comparing the differences in family education between the two countries, we can find the shortcomings of contemporary family education in China, and learn from the American democratic and open family education view, which is of great guiding and realistic significance for promoting the development of contemporary family education in China.
