The application of role play in English teaching of junior high school

摘要

角色扮演法作为一种常见的教学方法,在英语教学中具有重要的地位。它为学生创设特定的交际情景和角色,学生能在扮演角色的过程中体验人际交往,提高口语表达能力。本文旨在通过课堂观察和个案调查分析初中生在英语课堂中进行角色扮演过程中的表现,探讨角色扮演在初中生的口语学习中起到了什么作用,通过问卷调查和访谈法对当前中学英语课堂角色扮演使用的现状分析,总结存在的问题,从而对如何更好地把角色扮演运用至中学生口语教学提一点意见,使中学生的口语表达能力得到提高,更加适应新的教育形式发展的需要。

Abstract

Role play as a common teaching method. It has an important position in English teaching.  It creates specific communicative situations and roles for students, and students can experience interpersonal communication and improve their oral expression ability in the process of playing roles. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the performance of junior middle school students ' role play  in English teaching through classroom observation and case investigation, to explore the role played in the oral learning of junior middle school students, and to analyze the current situation of the role play in middle school English classroom by questionnaire and interview, Thus, how to better apply the role play to the middle school students ' oral English teaching, make the students ' oral expression ability improved, and adapt to the new education form development.
