数学学科核心素养是现代社会每个人都应具备的基本素养，随着基础教育课程改革的不断深入，人民教育出版社在2019年出版了以数学学科核心素养为导向的人教A版高中数学新教材。函数是高中数学课程的主线之一，对培养学生数学核心素养有着举足轻重的作用，因此本文在数学学科核心素养导向下对比新、旧教材的基本初等函数内容。

本文将运用文献分析法，内容分析法和比较分析法对新、旧教材从课程理念，课程目标、知识点编排、习题例题等方面进行对比研究，总结新旧教材的异同点，基于数学学科核心素养分析其原因。最后从学生和教师两个角度提出使用新教材的建议，让学生能更好地学习和理解高中数学，也帮助老师更好地把握教学重难点，提高教学质量。
