摘 要

《野性的呼唤》是作家杰克伦敦于1903年创作的小说，该作品一经发表，引起了美国文学领域的轰动，被誉为“最具影响力的动物小说”。该小说在中国受到了不同年龄段的人们的阅读，因此对小说译本的研究具有一定的文学价值。
自21世纪以来生态概念的出现，人们逐渐将目光从工业的发展移向了生态环境。与此同时，生态环境受到了学者的关注，一些学者将翻译与生态环境相结合并且对此进行了一系列的研究。胡庚申教授以生态学和翻译学为基础，在其著作《翻译适应选择论》中提出了生态翻译学。该理论在达尔文的“适者生存”学说的基础上，提出翻译和生态学的联系并且为翻译提供了新的研究方向。本文以《野性的呼唤》刘荣跃的译本为研究对象，其原因是：首先，刘荣跃的版本虽然经典但从生态翻译学理论对该译本的相关研究较少；其次，在众多翻译家中，他的译本受到广大读者的好评，因此具有典型性和特殊性，值得研究。
本文从生态翻译学的语言维，文化维和交际维三个维度，讨论影响翻译和译者的适应和选择的因素，包括源语言和目标语言的文化语境，源语言的历史背景以及目标读者的接受能力，并探讨生态翻译学在翻译中的指导作用。通过对该译本的研究,译者能够掌握更多的翻译方法，包括意译，直译，套译，仿译，改译，创译,有助于译者提高翻译质量，加深读者对原著的理解。
