功能对等理论视角下戏剧翻译研究——以《茶馆》英若诚为例【英文】

摘 要

戏剧作品是文学和艺术的重要组成部分,具有双重性。戏剧可以说是文学作品,同时,根据戏剧的性质,它也成为舞台艺术的有机组成部分。作为一种特殊的文学形式,戏剧文本的主要目标是表演,其次是阅读。
本文将从功能对等理论对戏剧翻译进行分析。首先戏剧是一种特殊的文学体裁,翻译时,应考虑读者阅读文本的需求,还应考虑听众欣赏表演的需求。结合功能对等理论对老舍《茶馆》展开研究分析,例如尊称、招呼语、北京方言等。根据研究可得对戏剧的翻译要考虑读者阅读文本的需要,还要考虑观众欣赏演出的需要。

ABSTRACT

Dramatic works are an important part of literature and art with duality.A dramatic work can be regarded as a literary work.At the same time, the nature of drama determines that it is an organic part of stage art.

This paper will analyze drama translation from the Perspective of Functional Equivalence.First of all, drama as a special literary genre,the translation of drama should not only take into account the needs of readers to read the text, but also take into account the needs of the audience to enjoy the performance. Combined with the Perspective of Functional Equivalence,this paper makes a research and analysis of Lao She’s “Teahouse”, such as honorific title, greeting, Beijing dialect and so on. According to the study,the translation of drama should not only take into account the needs of readers to read the text, but also take into account the needs of the audience to enjoy the performance.
