| An Analysis of Translation Methods of Social Science Texts Based on The Connotation, Significance and Implementing Requirements of Blended Learning 摘 要 本文基于晏绍祥的《阿吉纽西审判与雅典民主政治》一文，介绍在翻译过程中所用方法策略及心得体会。原文分析了阿吉纽西审判的前因后果，指出造成六名将军被处死的原因并非简单的“民主暴政”，还有几位关键性人物在其中起着至关重要的作用。文章中提出，这场审判与其说体现了民主与法治的紧张，不如说是希腊城邦固有弱点，精英阶级利用政治经验和势力以及民主政治的宽容，突破了雅典城邦的法治壁垒。 译者所译原文为社科类文本，社科类文本的主要特点是长难句多、逻辑严密。原文来自《历史研究》，主要研究哲学与人文科学专题。在整篇文章中译者主要针对长难句采取拆译法、顺译法、逆译法等方法，以此总结此类文本翻译方法。 本文主要包括四个章节，第一章对翻译任务作了简短的介绍，主要包括翻译任务的背景及原文的特点；第二章对整个翻译实践过程从准备过程到修改过程进行了描述；第三章是案例分析，分析了译者在翻译中遇到困难时所采用的方法和技巧；第四章对整个翻译过程作了总结，介绍了翻译过程尚未解决的问题及对译者的启示。 关键词：雅典民主政治；阿吉纽西审判；翻译方法 Abstract This paper introduces translation methods and experience basing on thearticle "The Arginusae Trial and Athenian Democracy" by Yan Shaoxiang. This thesis analyzes the causes and effect of the trail and points out that the execution of six generals could not be merely attributed to "Democratic tyranny" because there are several key figures contributing to the result. The trail reflects the inherent weakness of the Greek city-state,of which the elite class utilized political experience,their power and the tolerance of democratic policy, rather than the tension between democracy and the rule of law. The source text is a social science text,whose main characteristics are strict logic and long and complex sentence. The article is from Historical Research,which is a professional academic journal of philosophy and the humanities. Division, linear translation and reverse translation are adopted whenlong and complex sentences are translated,through which the translator summarizes the skills of translating such type of articles. This paper is composed of four chapters.The first chapter introduces the translation task briefly,which is mainly about the background of the task and the characteristics of the source text. The second one is a description of the whole translation process, from preparation to modification. The third one is a case analysis,which analyzes the skills and methods the translator used when faced with difficulties. The fourth one is the summary of the translation process,including problems to be solved in the process of translation and inspiration it brought to the translator.
