融入数学写作的初中数学教学研究

融入数学写作的初中数学教学研究


摘要

在二十世纪六十年代,美国教育界发现了写作与数学学习的联系,并引发了一轮课程改革运动,该运动的核心为将写作融入到学校的核心课程中。美国数学教师协会(NCTM)在“学校数学评价标准”中提出学校数学教育要培养和发展学生七个方面的素养,其中包含数学交流能力,并且美国数学教师协会在这项标准中将数学交流能力与其他数学能力同等看重,并提出了可以采用数学日记的形式来提高学生的数学交流能力。自新课程改革以来,数学教育在对学生的培养理念上有了转变,提倡要通过数学教育培养学生核心素养,发展学生解决问题的能力。在数学课程标准中提道:“数学教育应教会学生用数学的眼光观察世界,用数学的语言表达世界。”基于这个背景提出了将数学写作融入数学教学的研究主题。本研究主要研究以下三个问题:

(1)九年级学生进行数学写作的现状的是怎么样的?

(2)如何将数学写作融入中学的数学教学?

(3)融入数学写作的教学方法对学生数学学习是否有积极效果?

本研究首先通过文献研究法,梳理相关文献,设计本研究需要的研究工具,其次通过问卷调查方法对被试学校九年级学生的数学写作现状进行问卷调查,了解研究学校九年级学生的数学写作情况,包括学生对数学写作的情感和认知。之后以调查结果为依据,结合被试班级的数学教学情况制设计制定开发具体的数学写作任务,将写作任务落实于教学实践,进行实验研究。最后通过反馈问题调查以及SPSS数据分析这种定性与定量相结合的分析方法得出教学实践结果,最后得出研究结论,结论如下:

问卷调查表明学生对数学写作的认可度与接受度都很高。但是应用数学写作进行数学学习的学生较少。

本研究中融合数学写作于中学数学教学的方向有四个,分别是解题表达、学生课前预习、题目错因分析与反思总结,开放自主探究。

(3)经过对实践结果的质性和量化分析,得出数学写作可以提高学生的数学学业成绩,数学写作帮助学生总结、梳理、表达、反思、调整自己的数学学习,也可以帮助任教老师了解学生自身情况。

Abstract

In the 1960s, the American educational circles discovered the connection between writing and mathematics learning, and triggered a round of curriculum reform movement. The core of the movement was to integrate writing into the core curriculum of schools.In the "school mathematics evaluation standard",National Council of Teachers of Mathematics proposes that school mathematics education should cultivate and develop students' seven aspects of literacy, including the ability of mathematical communication. In this standard, National Council of Teachers of Mathematics attaches equal importance to theability of mathematical communication and other mathematical abilities,and proposes that the form of mathematical diary can be used to improve students' ability of mathematical communication. Since the new curriculum reform,there has been a change in the concept of students' training in mathematics education. It is advocated to cultivate students' core literacy and developstudents' ability to solve problems through mathematics education. In the mathematics curriculum standard,it is proposed that "mathematics education should teach students to observe the world with mathematical eyes and express the world with mathematical language." Based on this background,this paper puts forward the research topic of integrating mathematical writing into mathematics teaching. This study focuses on the following three issues:

(1)What is the current situation of ninth grade students' mathematical writing?

(2)How to integrate mathematics writing into middle school mathematics teaching?

(3)Does the teaching method of integrating mathematics writing have a positive effect on students' mathematics learning?

This study first through the literature research method, combing the relevant literature,design the research tools needed for this study,and then through the questionnaire survey methodto investigate the current situation of ninth grade students' mathematics writing in the tested school, to understand the situation of ninth grade students' mathematics writing in the research school, including students' emotion and cognition of mathematics writing. Then, based on the survey results,combined with the mathematics teaching situation of the tested class, we designed and developed the specific mathematics writing task, implemented the writing task in the teaching practice, and carried out the experimental research. Finally, through the

feedback question investigation and SPSS data analysis,this qualitative and quantitative analysis method,the teaching practice results are obtained, and finally the research conclusions are as follows:

The questionnaire survey shows that students have a high degree of recognition and acceptance of mathematical writing. However, there are few students who use mathematics writing to learn mathematics.

In this study, there are four directions of integrating mathematical writing into middle school mathematics teaching, which are problem-solving expression,students preview before class, problem error analysis and reflection summary, and open and independent inquiry.

Through the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the practice results,it is concluded that mathematical writing can improve students' mathematics academic performance, help students summarize, sort out, express,reflect and adjust their mathematics learning, and also help teachers to understand students' own situation.
