摘要：通过对当前河南省开封市农村体育发展现状的深入了解和分析,揭示当前河南省开封市农村体育发展所面临的困境,提出加快河南省开封市农村体育发展步伐进程的具体相关措施。通过系统的文献资料法、问卷调查法、数理统计法等多种方法获得了河南省开封市农村体育的大量资料和信息，并进行归纳、总结、分析。调查结果显示，河南省开封市农村体育发展存在着诸多问题：一是农村缺乏参与体育积极性，二是农民体育消费欲望低，三是政府体育措施落实不及时，四是公共体育服务不健全。针对上述问题，提出以下对策：完善农村体育服务体系，扩大体育资金筹措渠道，增加农村体育经费投入，积极培育体育人才，加快开封市农村地区社会体育指导员的队伍建设；进一步加大宣传，增强农民体育健身意识，增加农民收入；科学指导农村体育活动的举办和开展，全方位规范农村体育活动；基于开封市农村居民多为留守老年人、留守儿童的特点，结合当地的文化底蕴，因地制宜，传承特色体育活动，宣传并组织传统与现代结合、适合老年人的体育健身活动。
