基于VR技术的初中地理课程设计与应用


摘 要
 
在“教育信息化2.0”的时代浪潮中,VR技术在“互联网+”的带动下飞速发展,并逐渐应用渗透到传统教育领域。目前,传统授课方式和教学资源已逐渐无法满足学生的学习需求,这使得许多中小学一线教师将目光转向以信息技术支撑的教学资源应用中。在中小学课堂与信息技术相结合的背景下,初中地理教师可以结合VR技术所特有的沉浸性、交互性、构想性等优势,对传统初中地理课本中的知识内容,进行具有“VR+教育”的特色课程设计研究,从而提升学生的上课效率和学习兴趣。
 
目前大多数地理教师在授课时选用PPT播放或写板书进行演示,但这种方法却忽视了初中生的知识接受能力和认知特点。为了解决此类教育难题,本研究创新的将VR技术和地理课程内容相结合,以建构主义、行为主义、认知主义学习理论为基础,设计出适用于初中生的VR地理课程,并在实际教学情境中进行应用研究,以期为我国教育信息化改革提供一种新的思路。本研究的具体工作内容包括:

Abstract
 
In the era of "education informatization 2.0", VR technology is developing rapidly under the impetus of "Internet +",and gradually penetrates into the traditional education field by application. At present, traditional teaching methods and teaching resources have gradually been unable to meet the learning needs of students,which has caused many front-line teachers in primaryand secondary schools to turn their attention to the application of teaching resources supported by information technology. Under the background of combining elementary and middle school classrooms with information technology, junior high school geography teachers can combine the unique advantages of VR technology such as immersion, interactivity,and conception to carry out "VR+ education" on the knowledge content in traditional junior high school geography textbooks. The design and development of special courses to enhance students’ class efficiency and interest in learning.
 
At present, most geography teachers use PPT to play or write a blackboard to demonstrate when teaching,but this method ignores the knowledge acceptance and cognitive characteristics of junior high school students. In order to solve such educational problems,this research innovatively combines VR technology and geography curriculum content,based on the learning theories of constructivism, behaviorism, and cognition, designing VR geography courses suitable for junior high school students, and in practice Carry out applied research in the teaching situation, hoping to provide a new way of thinking for the reform of education informatization in our country. The specific work content of this research includes:
 
1.Put forward theoretical basis and applied technology.Through combing the application characteristics of VR technology in the current society,it is concluded that VR technology is suitable for junior high school geography classrooms, and the design principles and strategies of VR technology in geography courses are summarized, and the overall framework design of VR geography courses is completed according to these principles.
 
2.Design and apply VR courses.In view of the psychological development characteristics of junior high school students,select the representative junior high school geography course "Topography and Topography" chapter content for the design and development of VR courses,use Unity 3D modeling tools to develop and render the knowledge content in the geography textbook, and then according to The characteristics of the use of VR courses are the teaching design of VR courses in the classroom and the teaching application in S Middle School of Shihezi City.
 
3.Analyze the application effect of VR courses.According to the results of the final exams of the third and fourth classes of the second grade, the results found that the third class as an experimental class for VR teaching,the overall performance is better than the fourth class as a traditional teaching control class.
 
After the above VR curriculum design and application research in teaching,the following conclusions are drawn: Junior high school students who arein adolescence with strong curiosity are very interested in teaching methods that combine geographic knowledge and VR technology, and are also more interested in using VR equipment. The acceptance of VR technology indicates that VR technology is suitable for junior high school geography classrooms. Effective use of VR equipment for auxiliary teaching in the classroom will help improve the learning interest and learning efficiency of junior high school students. At the same time, the immersive, interactive,and conceptual advantages of VR technology make it easier for students to understand the abstract knowledge in geography textbooks.
 
This research increases the scope of application of VR technology in junior high school classroom teaching, and provides applicable curriculum cases for the concept of "VR+education" in junior high schools, which has reference value in both theory and practice.
