基于大概念的高中英语单元整体教学研究述评

摘要


单元整体教学是一种以单元为教学基本单位,围绕单元主题组织教学过程的教学模式,强调教学目标、教学内容、教学活动、教学过程以及教学评价的整体性、系统性和有序性。《普通高中英语课程标准(2017年版2020年修订)》(以下简称新课标)首次提出并强调大概念在英语学科教学中的核心地位。为深入理解大概念视角下高中英语单元整体教学的内涵、特征、价值、实践原则和方法,本文综述了近十年国内外的相关文献。研究发现,有关单元整体教学和大概念的理论研究居多,教学方面的实证研究则较少。此外,基于大概念的高中英语单元整体教学能有效改进目前单元整体教学的弊端,促进学生深度学习,培养学生的英语学科核心素养,以及实现英语学科育人目标和落实立德树人根本任务。

Abstract

Unit integrity instruction is a teaching mode that takes a unit as the basic teaching unit and organizes teaching process around the unit theme. It emphasizes the wholeness, systematicness and orderliness of teaching objectives,teaching contents, teaching activities, teaching process and teaching evaluation. The English Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools (2017 Edition, 2020 Revised) (referred to as the New Curriculum Standards later) is the first to put forward and stresses the core role of big ideas in English teaching. In order to understand the connotation, features, value,and the practical principles and methods of English unitintegrity instruction based on big ideas in senior highschool, this paper makes a general review of its relevant literatures at home and abroad in the past ten years, and found that there are more theoretical researches, but less empirical researches. Besides, English unit integrity instruction based on big ideas in senior high school is of vital importance, which can effectively solve the problems of current unit integrity instruction, facilitate students’ deep learning,cultivate students’ English subject core competencies, and promote the realization of educational goal of English discipline and the implementation of the fundamental task of cultivating people through virtue.
