Abstract

In recent years, "intergenerational" reality showshave become popular among viewers on the TV screen. This "intergenerational" style of subject matter has subsequently spawned a seriesof models such as "intergenerational observation" and "intergenerational experience". This new model differs from other reality shows in that the "Intergenerational" series is different from the traditional "patterned" observations such as expert analysis and industry commentary in other observation programs, but rather innovative ideas to open a second scene of "parental observation and commentary" in the studio in addition to the first scene of the reality show. With "celebrity + parent-child" as the object of observation,it focuses on the "generation gap conflict" between the two generations. With "celebrity + parent-child" as the observation object,it focuses on the "generation gap conflict" between two generations, which makes the program more interesting and increases the educational significance of the program for society. Therefore it is more likely to attract the audience'sattention and meet more of their psychological needs. The paper attempts to analyze the "intergenerational observation" model in My Little One and explore the reasons for the popularity of the "intergenerational observation" model in reality TV programs from the perspective of the audience.
