| 论大众传媒对美西战争的影响 摘 要：作为历史上第一次帝国主义战争，美西战争是近现代世界历史上的标志性事件之一。在美西战争中，大众传媒自始至终占据着非常重要的作用，大众传媒对于舆论的营造对美国方面的战争政策产生着影响。因此，不可否认，美西战争时期大众传媒所起的角色是我们应该去思考的课题。笔者认为，大众传媒对美西战争前、中、后均产生了一定的影响，前期，大众传媒主要是营造舆论氛围；中期，大众传媒主要维持战争气氛的作用；到了后期，大众传媒主要起着报道战果的作用。 关键词：美西战争；大众传媒；舆论引导；新闻与传播 A Study on the Influence of Mass Media on the Spanish American War Abstract:the Spanish American war is one of the significant war in modern history.In the war, the mass media played a very important role from beginning to end.The construction of public opinion by the mass mediahad an impact on the war policy of the United States. Therefore, it is undeniable that the role of the mass media during the Spanish American war is something we should think about. Based on the background of the Spanish American War and the development of mass media represented by cheap newspapers and yellow journalism since the mid-19th century,this paper studies the influence of mass media on war decision-making and war process, and reveals the crucial influence of mass media in the Spanish American war.
